No regrets.

Defending a yellow jersey, whether it is on your back, or on a teammates, is never an easy task.  It is a fight.  It is a struggle, and it is not for the faint of heart.

At the NVGP, we fought to defend the yellow jersey.  We gave it everything.  I have no regrets.  I tore myself inside out working for the team, and you win some and you lose some.  Although we didn’t win this one, we worked cohesively, we gave everything that we had.

When you dig so deep, and work hard, you may not always succeed, but you definitely won’t regret your effort.  Job well done.

Digging deep.

We are on to Augusta, Georgia for Nationals, where the low is a steamy 90 degrees and the heat is stifling.  30k TT on Thursday, Crit on Friday, and the Road Race on Sunday.
